『Diamonds (Deluxe)（ダイアモンズ・デラックス）』は、エルトン・ジョンによる1970年から2016年までのヒット曲を集めたベスト・アルバムのデラックス盤。2022年にデジタルのみでリリースされた。2017年にリリースされた通常盤はシングルディスク版、2枚組CD版、3枚組CDデラックスボックスセット、2枚組LPビニール版で発売された。2枚のディスクとビニール版には、以前のマルチプラチナコレクションと同じかそれより少ない曲が収録されている。
OVERVIEW
『Diamonds』は、2007年の『Rocket Man: The Definitive Hits』の発売以来、エルトン・ジョンのキャリアを網羅した初のコンピレーションとなる。このアルバムは、エルトン・ジョンと作詞家バーニー・トーピンの50年にわたる仕事の記念として発売された。彼らのコラボレーションは1967年に始まったが、アルバムで最も古いヒット曲は、1970年の同名アルバムからの「Your Song」。限定版の3枚組CDボックスセット版の『Diamonds』には、各トラックの背景にあるストーリーを解説した72ページのハードカバー本と、現代アーティストのリチャード・キルロイによるエルトン・ジョンのイラストを描いたポストカード5枚が付属している。2024年6月、英国レコード協会は、150万枚の販売で『Diamonds』をクイント・プラチナに認定した。米国では、全米レコード協会が 2023年11月21日に、100万枚の販売で『Diamonds』をダブル プラチナに認定した（100分を超えるダブル・アルバムの場合、RIAAは各ディスクを認定にカウントしている）。
